Non-woven fabric (TNT) is the generic term to indicate an industrial product similar to a fabric, but obtained with processes other than weaving. The particularities of this fabric are many:
-water repellency
-resistance to very low or high temperatures
-softness
-non-abrasive to the touch
The fields of use of non-woven fabric are various, such as:
- construction
- in a medical environment, for sterile surgical gowns
- masks, headphones and shoe covers
- in agriculture, protective sheets for plants, vegetables and fruit
- for the development of seeds and vegetables
- to protect plants and horticultural crops from bad weather, cold, or from attack by external agents
