Cablè 5 by Tricot Cafè - Pure makò cotton yarn ideal for crochet

Cablè 5 from the Tricot Cafè brand is a pure cotton yarn made entirely in Italy. Thanks to the gassing and mercerization treatments to which it is subjected, it acquires excellent quality, resistance and becomes super combed and anti-pilling. The thickness of the thread is thicker than Cablè 8 cotton . This yarn has been tested according to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, guaranteeing that it is free from substances harmful to health and the environment.

From the creation of elegant sweaters for women and men to cute layettes, baby shoes and crochet bibs, Cablè 5 is also perfectly suited for the creation of clothing for children of all ages. Its versatility also extends to the sphere of home decor, allowing the creation of accessories such as crochet doilies , blankets and tablecloths, as well as vibrant pot holders and more. This yarn is suitable for hand but also machine knitting.

With a weight of 50 g and a length of approximately 215 meters, to obtain the best results with this yarn, we recommend using knitting needles and crochet hooks with sizes between 1.50 and 1.75.

To create a short-sleeved crochet shirt size 40/42 we recommend using at least 5-6 balls of Cablè 5.
