Silk Mohair is one of the most elegant yarns you can find: a mix between the qualities of mohair and those of silk. Suitable for working with a single thread, to create baby clothes, or together with another type of wool, to give an extra touch of class and softness.

Mohair is an excellent insulator, sensitive to different temperatures. This causes it to swell with air when it's cold and when it's hot it eliminates moisture on the surface. Mohair of animal origin obtained from the hair of the Angora goat.

Silk and its natural thermoregulatory properties give this paradoxical and exceptional ability to cool and heat simultaneously. It can absorb up to 30% of its weight in humidity without feeling damp. It is also able to absorb sweat while letting the skin breathe. It mixes well with other animal and plant fibers.
