SCHMETZ leather needles are specially designed for sewing solid and non-woven materials such as natural leather, hard synthetic leather and paper . The LL (left-hand cutting) point cuts the material cleanly, making it easier to penetrate and creating a decorative angled seam, ideal for visible stitching on leather goods and accessories.

Thanks to their structure, they guarantee a clean and professional seam, reducing resistance during sewing. Not suitable for fabrics, as the cutting effect could damage the fibers.

Ideal materials:

Real leather and rigid synthetic leather
Paper and compact materials (e.g. brochures)
Fashion accessories, bags, wallets, leather goods

NB: Use longer stitches to avoid tearing and to obtain a more pronounced visual effect. Try the Microtex needle for soft synthetic leather.
